…have you, like me, hibernated through the winter… waiting for the warm summer days to lure you out and about again… where can I soak up some sun and see some live music all into the bargain… I am glad to say I have now found just such a place… petersham bowling club… just off parramatta road… it’s a community owned and run club who are trying to keep out the pokies and developers and have kindly allowed me to run a Sunday arvo gig each month for friends of all ages to come and enjoy the sun, free game of lawn bowls if so inclined and the opportunity to hear some great live music into the bargain, cheap drinks, bistro… what more could you ask for?… I hope you can join us for our next Sunday line up - all shows last year and in January/February went really well… along with my band CLEAR, first there's Johnno Clarke and later, Ancient Marinators … feel free to spread the word… attached is a flyer with all the details but in case you can’t open the pdf it is:
